For more than a year Landshark’s has offered as part of it’s Thursday Special of the Day the most delicious sandwiches anywhere in the country – and this isn’t just bragging, either. This year, Landshark’s Slow-Smoked Pork Tenderloin Sub Sandwich has been voted as one of the Top 4 Sandwiches in Destin, Florida in a poll conducted and published in Destin Life Magazine. The talent and culinary skill that goes into making such a high-demand menu item has been parlayed into a stunning victory at the 2013 Blues, Brews, & BBQ celebration on November 09th at Harborwalk Village in Destin, Florida. This is just one so numerous major milestones achieved by the local Destin pizza joint with a wing problem, The Place Where The Locals Go To Feed.
Blues, Brews, & BBQ is one of the premier annual events on the Emerald Coast of Florida, attended by hundreds of people looking to sample enjoyable culinary delights from area restaurants and chefs coveting the winning prize and bragging rights that last for an entire year. This year’s celebration was no less amazing and thoroughly packed with vendors on display as well as product suppliers and distributors for popular beers, whiskies, and other products. There was plenty of music and entertainment to top everything off, so the mood was as festive and energetic as it was tantalizing. The highlight of course was the cooking. Landshark’s serving tent was really hopping the entire time, serving more than 500 people thanks to the hard work and talents of team members James and Jonelle Bell (THANK YOU JONELLE!!!) and owners Susan & Brian Hassmann.
